A cycle of ritual novellas, songs "Styrax and Pomegranate" is a ceremony set on the shore of a salt lake.

It functions as a surrealist opus that examines the contract between beings and landscape. The album consists of vocal and instrumental improvisations with electroacoustic elements and field recordings.
It employs a constructed language based on mixed Near Eastern phonological models and uses it to organise vocal structures independently of conventional semantics.
The work approaches the Song of Songs as a practical protocol, a model of attention, reciprocity and bodily coordination within the recording process.
The material was assembled during movements between several cities.
